Superbug Alert

By Ken Buben, President,

Los Angeles is keeping an eye on the latest Superbug – a drug-resistant germ present elsewhere in the country that has emerged in Los Angeles County hospitals and nursing homes. They have had over 350 infections last year alone.

CRKP is short for carbapenem-resistant Klebsiella pneumoniae and is the latest antibiotic-resistant germ that hospitals across the US have been fighting.

To prevent the spread of this remember simply to wash hands before eating and after touching any surfaces and wear protective garments now more than ever.

About hightechnologyscrubs

I own and operate an online store that specializes in nursing scrubs, nursing uniforms, lab coats and clogs. The website includes New Balance, Gelscrubs, Jockey, Cherokee, Trend, White Swan, and the product line I am most proud of is a protecting fluid repelling scrub line from Vestex.
